Book Blurb:

After surviving hell not once, but twice, Jade Moore is once again living, but her nights are filled with torture as she relives her time with the Condemned Warriors again and again. The only person capable of chasing away those demons is Viper, the man she has fallen deeply in love with. He is not just her hero, he is her destiny.

Viper’s troubled past makes him the cold, heartless killer that everyone fears. Then he met Jade, falling helplessly in love with her. As he helps Jade overcome her demons, he reveals his own, not knowing if he will lose her forever. But it isn't his past he should be worried about, it’s his future.

Shadow returns to Rockingham to be with the girl he has loved since they were kids, only to find she is in love with another man. He is determined to win the heart of the only girl he has ever loved, no matter the consequences. When secrets are revealed and tragedy strikes, will he put aside his desires and be the friend Jade needs?

Lives will be lost and heartache will be inevitable.

In the second book of the series, we continue to follow Viper and Jade. This is a story of their journey and love story. It shows how strong their bond is. Jade’s strength and determination is put to the test. In this book we fill the full impact of emotions that she is filling. I adore Jade’s character. Instead of being wallowing in her pain, she fights to get back to her life.
Viper shows what a remarkable character he is in this book. His love for Jade shows on every page.
Shadow’s character plays a big part in the book. After a break from everyone, he reappears. As if by destiny, it is at a time that Jade needs him most.  Shadow is what a good man should be. Instead of coming in guns blazing determined to get Jade back, he steps to the side and settles in as a friend.
This book takes a sad turn. Beware, Kleenexes will be needed. I won’t go into details, you’ll need to read the book.
Johns does a fantastic job with this book. She pulls at your heartstrings. You’ll find yourself yelling at the book to encourage the characters.
I love this series. I cannot wait for book 3. I recommend this series but to readers who are 18+.
