I doubt that there is anything that C.A. Harms can write that I won't read. She's a great writer who knows what she is doing. She creates characters and storylines that are dynamic and entertaining. In Inevitable, we follow Harper and Easton. When Harper was first introduced in Loving Colt, I wondered who she would end up with. She's a force to be reckoned with and beat a man down with her sharp tongue. Easton is the perfect fit for her. He's a little calmer compared to his friends. He creates a yin and yang balance for her.
I thought that Harper's personality was always like the way it is. I had no idea rhat her past was as traumatic as it was. You are able to understand her personality more. You understand why she puts up a wall. Easton is the one person who can crack through her shell. He seems more laid back rhan the others. He and Harper make the perfect pair.
I enjoyed Harms writing. She graps the reader's attention from the beginning. I appreciate how she tackled the subject of assault. She didn't brush under the rug but she did over write it. It was enough for the reader to understand and not feel uncomfortable.
It's a pleasure reading this author's books. I know no matter what, I'll be entertained. I highly recommend this series looking for a great read.
