Damaged, but not broken, Sydney Summers picks up her life and moves halfway across the country.
After a tragic event that has rocked her to the core, she is determined not to let it taint her future. Her entire world is turned on its axis when her new roommate isn’t the person she thought they would be. Making the best of the situation, like she always does, she trudges forward and learns that, although life may not seem perfect all the time, it can end up being pretty damn good.

Damien Blue, a tattoo artist by day and a musician by night, is a man-whore. With a revolving bedroom door, he knows no limits when it comes to women. Then he meets his game-changer. Everything he knew before is completely and utterly turned upside-down when he can’t keep the one woman he thinks is too good for him from his mind or his heart.

When fate rears its ugly head again, will they be able to come together as one, surviving their hot and cold relationship? Will Sydney be able to let go of her past and fight for their future?
Together, will they be able to find The Right Kind of Love?

The Right Kind Of Love is a book that gets you from the very beginning. It grips you with the emotion and despair that Sydney and never lets go. You can not help but root for this character. Kelly does a great job in telling Sydney's story but doesn't way it down with darkness. She includes humor and romance that that round this book off and make it very entertaining for the readers.

You follow Sydney on her journey to overcome her past. She needs a new beginning. She ends up becoming roommates with Damien. Damien is the definition of a player. He has a new woman in his bed every night. He and Sydney clash at first because of his extracurricular activities. He grows on Sydney and the create a strong friendship that leads to more.

One of my favorite things about this book is that the author created a base for the characters. She didn't jump out of the gate and have them in a relationship. She gradually built up to it and I loved that. Towards the end of the book it is slightly rushed but not enough to throw off the flow of the book. There were a few things that were predictable. As I have said in other reviews, it is to be expected in romances. We are not reading these books because they are based in fact, we are reading them as an escape from reality. Now if it was loaded with predictability, then it would be an issue but it's not.

The author is a great writer and wrote an entertaining book. I do recommend this read but for ages 18+.

4 out of 5 Stars
