Author Spotlight- Theresa Sederholt

Today's spotlight is on author Theresa Sederholt.

Describe yourself in 10 words or less.
Making you feel one word at a time.

When did you decide to become a writer?

I don’t think anyone wakes up and decides today is the day to become a writer, but I could be wrong.  I’ve always had a very active imagination, and kept journals of my life’s experiences. When publishing became easier I realized it was time to share my stories.

What is the best piece of advice you received in your journey to become an author?

Believe in yourself and stay true to who you are. Always remember where you started.

When you are not saving the world by writing books, how do you spend your free time?

What’s free time? When I’m not writing, and doing everything else that goes along with it, I’m usually reading and spending time with my family. Family and friends are very important to me. Life can change very quickly I take nothing for granted.

Your current book is Shattered Lies, can you tell the readers a little about it?

Shattered Lies is the third book in The Unraveled Trilogy. It’s a struggle to explain this without giving too much away. There are many secrets that come to light, putting everyone’s life in danger. When tragedy hits the family comes together but who will pay the ultimate price for revenge?

What is your current WIP?

My current WIP is called Uniquely Mine a Fitz series. It’s a romance, suspense with a twist.

Social Media, love it, hate it or can't live without it?

I love that it has brought people together, that would have otherwise been apart. I don’t like that people sit behind a keyboard and think they can put anything and everything out there. Words can be very hurtful.

If your life was made into a reality tv show, what would the title be?

Life begins with coffee.

If you could live as one of your characters for 24 hours, which one would it be and why?

I would step into Jaxson Phillips shoes. He is intense and knows what he wants and where needs to be. He is kind and has a very logical mind. He has a great sense of humor and loves with his whole heart.

Where do you get the inspiration for your characters?

Some of my inspiration comes from my everyday life and some from my active imagination. I leave the reader to figure out which is which.

What three books are must haves in any reader's library?
Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman.

Theresa Sederholt was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. She is a graduate of Campbell University in North Carolina, with a degree in Criminal Justice. Theresa now calls North Carolina home, with her husband, a professional chef, and her two dogs.
Experiencing life first hand is what she does best. Believing she can do anything has put her in many crazy situations. Whether it’s babysitting a pig farm or cutting the top off of a mini truck; nothing is ever out of reach. Her list is endless, A to Z.
As a flight attendant (there’s that list again), she would make up stories about all of her passengers as they came and went. It seemed only natural to put pen to paper and see where these characters led her. What started out as a single woman, having a cup of coffee—trying to make it through life—grew into a complex story of romance, mystery, and murder. The Unraveled Trilogy was born.
Theresa’s beliefs are pretty simple. There isn’t a luggage rack on the hearse, and give a girl Nutella and espresso and she can change the world.
Theresa enjoys connecting with her fans. She can always be reached through her website at:www.theresasederholt.com
