Review
Until June is one of the books in this series I have been waiting for. Why? Because June has kept a secret from her family and that secret is back in town, hoping to be back in her life. June was secretly married to Evan. Why she would keep it a secret and not shout it from the rooftops is beyond me. Maybe it's because June got hurt when Evan left her. Now that he's b back, she wants to hate him but she loves him too. She's tried to move on, even with that looser Lane, but no one lives up to Evan.
Things change when her family, the family of alpha males, decide that her life is in danger and needs protection. In steps Evan. He's willing to protect her , even at a distance, if it means that he can be around her. Evan never stopped loving her. He left her because, as cliche as it is, he thought he was protecting her. Taking away her choice because he knew she would never let him go. He regrets this decision because he wants her back. If being her bodyguard is a way to win her back, he'll take it.
You can tell that feelings run deep and their love for each other never stopped. They have a difficult path because of everything that happened in between. They fight to keep each other and to prove that they belong together.
Reynolds does what she does best, that is giving us super hot alpha men, and hot steamy, swoon worthy romance. This book lives up to the Boom. I couldn't wait to read June's story and I wasn't disappointed. It was wonderfully told and well worth reading. Sometimes with series like this one, the storylines can become repetitive. I'm not sure how she does it but the readers don't have to worry about that. The writing is always fresh and definitely pleasing to the audience.
Luckily for us readers there are a lot of Mayson offspring, so we can look forward to many more books in the future. I can't wait for more books.

Seeing Evan again is taking a toll on me, I can’t sleep and my mind is in a constant state of turmoil. I wake up in the middle of the night from dreams of us. The memories of him, of us are too much. Some memories have the ability to heal. The ability to light up the dark because the beauty of the memory is so bright you’re still able to bask in it.
But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment I had everything while reminding me it’s gone. It’s the realization that we’re done that’s killing me. The realization that I can see him but can’t touch him that he exist but he’s not mine is agonizing.
