If you've read this author's books before, you'll know that this is a complete change of pace from her usual work. She is very upfront about the fact that this story is cliche. So if you're looking for her typical biker romance, you'll not going to find that here.
She does stick with her alpha male theme with Cameron. He is a total alpha male when it comes to Ava and getting what he wants. Cameron goes to great lengths to get back what is his and Ava is his, even if she doesn't know it yet.
Ava is stubborn and refuses to sit back and allow Cameron to walk all over her. She loves him and thinks he doesn't love her. She thinks he is building a life with another woman.
They are combustible together, especially when Ava shows her true self. You'll find yourself laughing at some points and being completely entertained throughout the whole read. It is fast paced, but it's a novella, it's expected.
I liked that the author connected it to her Angel Warriors series. It's more like a companion to it, instead of a series addition.
If you're a fan of Alexa Riley, you'll definitely enjoy this book.
