Review and Giveaway: Accidently Yours by Lea Barrymire

Title : Accidentally Yours (Coyote Bluff #1)
Author: Lea Barrymire
Publisher: Lea Barrymire
Published Date: September 10, 2014
Page Count: 262
Genre: Erotica/Paranormal Romance

Book Blurb:

Cammie has had one hell of a night. Her long-time abusive boyfriend pushed her to the limits and then a freaking wolf hit her car. While clutching a bag of frozen peas to her swollen eye she manages to rescue the animal and make it home. But what’s she do with it after that?

Ian can’t believe his luck. After a stupid decision he’s been run out of every shifter territory he’s entered. Hoping Coyote Bluff would be different seems to have been his downfall. After a bunch of coyotes chase him through the night he finds himself being coddled by a tempting woman. His canine half is already in love with her.

Cammie’s ex comes calling, Ian’s found out by the local Alpha and the town seems bent on keeping them apart. Can they fight against everyone at once to find happiness together? Better question would be will Cammie accept Ian once he admits to being the wolf she so readily confided in and nursed back to health?

Accidently yours is a great romance. Cammie and Ian are two characters that are made for each other. They live in the town of Coyote Bluff and things are not as they seem there. Cammie soon learns that Ian is not as he seems either.
Cammie is an emotional character. It is expected, she just left an abusive relationship. She eventually falls in love with Ian but not before she finds out the truth.
Ian seems like the strong but silent type.
Great banter between the characters. I enjoyed the book and look forward to more. Hopefully Cammie’s friend Margie gets a book.

Series Teaser:

Coyote Bluff is a small, quaint town in the mountains of Virginia. With its diner run by Mama, the police force of one and a single stop light it's much like every other small town in America. Well, until you take a closer look.

Feel free to come visit Coyote Bluff... but keep an eye on the wildlife.

When the hard, cool surface of a tree pressed against her back she understood what he was doing. With his hot chest pressed against hers and her back against the unyielding tree she felt trapped, but in that ‘oh so perfect’ way. She’d been battling the heat building in her pussy. With her body immobilized she gave over to the feelings. Her breasts felt heavy and hot, throbbing in time to her racing heart. She finally acknowledged the dampness between her legs, soaking her panties, and the throbbing ache of her clit. She moaned into his kiss when he picked her up enough to press his cock against her mound. In that moment of first contact she lost the battle completely with her mind and body.
There was nothing but sensation left. Her skin was sensitive, shivering and erupting in goose bumps as his breath skated over it. Every movement he made rubbed her, pressed her, pulling a reaction from her. She wrapped her legs around his hips to center his rigid shaft against her clit. Her body knew what it wanted. The slow grind of his pelvis against hers, the denim clad, hard cock against her clit, was driving her swiftly toward an orgasm.

Meet The Characters:
Ian:
Beautiful grey eyes gleamed from under dark lashes. His mouth was inches from her ankle. She could feel his warm breath skating over her skin. She hastily stepped back from him, trying not to stare. How could she not? She’d just watched her wolf morph into a wonderfully built man. The animal was majestic in his power and predatory grace, but the man was gorgeous in a purely male way.
Cammie:
The female—no, he knew her name—Cammie. He wondered briefly if that was short for something. The thought slid from his mind when she continued cooing, as if he was an injured baby bird. She spoke softly to him, coaxing him to relax. Her hand stroked down his head in slow slides, over and over. He fought the pain enough to open his eyes, and found a beautiful pixie face close to his. Her hazel eyes were so large in her pale face she looked child-like. One eye was partially swollen shut, marred with a nasty bruise and fresh scrapes. His anger boiled again. Who in their right mind would harm a female enough to leave that kind of damage?

Author Bio:
Lea lives in Western New York with her hubby, three children, and miscellaneous critters. Before the rug rats, she lived a life of adventure, following her husband all over Europe with the US military. She's slept in a car outside Paris, drove six hours just to see tulips in the Netherlands, and knocked ash from her shoes at Pompeii. Now she spends her time in life's adventures at soccer games, PTA meetings and school plays.

Lea has loved reading from a very young age, spending many sleepless nights devouring books. Science fiction and paranormal were her favorite genres to read as a teenager, and that love bled into her adult life. She started writing during a bout of insomnia, to fill time, and found it filled a creative void. Now she communes regularly with the characters in her head and tries not to laugh out loud when they say something funny.

When Lea isn't reading, writing or corralling kids, she enjoys watching movies and sciencey shows, or just kicking back and listening to some music.

About Dawn Robertson:

Dawn Robertson is a two time best selling, twenty-something indie author, and mother. She lives in sunny senior citizen packed Florida, where she wrangles her flock of kids and writes smut.

Dawn can normally be found swearing like a sailor, making late night drive-thru appearances, arguing with her kids, reading a steamy romance while hiding in her bathroom, writing her little heart out on her laptop, shopping for My Little Pony goodies, being the life of the party at a book signing, or sipping on a smoothie. She loves to hear from her fans, readers, and authors alike. Feel free to drop her a message.

Dawn rarely takes life seriously, so be sure to expect heavy sarcasm from her. She is also the life of the party, so be sure to meet up with her at one of the many author events she will be attending in the next couple months. Buy her a shot of whiskey, and she will love you for life.

Review: Climbing Out by Lila Rose

18717645

Title: Climbing Out (Hawks Motorcycle Club #2)

Author: Lila Rose

Publisher: Lila Rose

Page Count: 197

Genre: Romance/Erotica

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Blurb:

Deanna Drake has a past she longs to forget, but won't ever be able to. She's always been the tough one. No one, but her best friend Zara has ever been able to penetrate her cold, hard, shell.

Until Griz

Griz— a.k.a Grady Daniels, Hawks Motorcycle Club second in command, also has a past that he wishes he could undo...all except one part.

It's her past that brings them together. Only will it be forever?

My Review:

What I loved about Climbing Out:
Deanna's vulnerability is shown in this book. In Holding Out, she was shown as this tough take no gruff woman. Now we see that she is just human.
We learn more about Griz and his life outside of the MC.
The author doesn't have Deanna and Griz professing their love for one another early in the book. I appreciate that. Most authors rush to have the characters fall in love rather than get to know each other.
Julian has to be the best character. I love him. He is always hitting on the bikers just for the help of it. He reminds me of Sway from Harper Sloan's Corps series.

What I didn't love:
I felt it was another book where it reached a certain point and then the story is rushed through. There is mention of Jason briefly throughout and then bam. He is seen then gone as quickly as he came. I had hoped for more to that part of the story.

Overall I have to say I still loved the book. I have looked forward to Griz and Deanna's story since the beginning. I look forward to the next book from the author. A definite recommend read. Should only be read by adults 18+ due to HOT and STEAMY sex scenes. ;)
