Life dealt him a dead man’s hand.

Lucky had always led a life of service. Always put his life on the line for someone else, managing to survive by pure luck and skill. After bringing an end to a multi-state drug ring, he was finally able to live the life he had wanted as a Last Rider…

A good man would walk away and not touch the curvy woman who had been tugging on his heartstrings. Lucky wasn’t a good man. Therefore, the bad-ass biker in him had a choice: once again become the man he had pretended to be and stake his claim, or take the devil’s highway.

Some girls had all the luck.

Willa wasn’t one of them. All she wanted to do was give a home to the children she had made orphans. Instead, she found herself needing help from the man who had left the pulpit behind to embrace a life of sin.

Painfully shy and withdrawn she wanted a quiet life, a simple man, and well-behaved children. The last thing she had ever expected was for Lucky to want her size twenty body and show her a passion that would lead her straight to hell.

Lucky's Choice is the much anticipated book from Jamie Begley. We finally get Willa and Lucky's story. For those that have followed The Last Riders series, know that Willa is the shy and timid baker. She's had a thing for Lucky since he was pastor Dean. Being so shy, she never said a word about it to him. Lucky has always cared for Willa. Unfortunately, his life has never been stable enough for him to profess his love. He has enemies from his past that could take her away from him and he doesn't want to risk it. Lucky and Willa are willing to risk it all just for an ounce of happiness. The journey they take is a rocky one but ultimately they end up where they should be.

OMG! Lucky! I think Shade has competition in the bad boy department. I always saw Lucky as the straight and narrow type until this book. This opens your eyes to a different side of him. Lucky has a dark side to him. The time he spent overseas during the war has taken a toll on him. He wants to follow the path of religion but his need for the club pulls at him too. You see the struggle that he has because he feels that he has to choose between them both. Lucky feels that he has to choose his religious calling because he thinks it's the only one that will give him Willa. What he fails to see is that Willa is strong and he can have his cake and eat it too. Willa is perfect for Lucky. She helps him see the light when the darkness tries to overtake him. He's just as good for her. He helps to pull her out of her shell just a little more each time.

What can I say about the author that hasn't been said before? She is a fantastic writer. I love reading her books and The Last Riders series has to be one of my top favorites. In Lucky's Choice, Begley was able to merge Lucky's club world with his church world and create something amazing. Normally I don't like books that have any kind of religious aspect to them but she was able to write it into the storyline and it worked. It didn't come off preachy at all. It just...fit. That's what I like about this author. She's willing to tackle things that other authors will overlook.

Lucky's Choice was an amazing book. I loved everything about it. Just as it states in the book description, reading the whole series will help you understand the characters better. I recommend that you pick up a copy of this book today. It's a must read.
