My Review:
We all thought we knew Zeke Cooper, and he surprised us when he took a bullet for Emmy. When his brother, Asher, shows up our eyes are opened even more. As the older of the two, Asher took the job of protecting Coop seriously. In his story we find out that he feels guilty for not being there to save his brother. During his childhood he was the protector. He saved Coop. So to find that this time he just could not, hit him hard. Enter Chelcie, the one person who can bring Asher back. She holds a connection to Coop and Asher's heart. Asher must get past the darkness of his past in order to have a future.
Harper Sloan is a fantastic writer. Sloan is able to take the reader inside the story and connect with the characters. Her writing is strong, focused and entertaining. It is a joy for any reader to read.
Her best character has to be Maddox Locke. Yes, fans of Locke will see him in this book.
Cooper's story is emotional, loving and sexy. The reader is going to want to cry along with the characters and then wish they had their own Asher. I recommend than any lover of romance read this series. Psst... be sure to read them in order to get the full effect. Corps Series is for readers 18+ due to the hot sexy guys on the pages. ;)
