I am a fan of contemporary romance with HEA’s as much as the next person. Rochelle Paige’s Sucked into Love delivers that. It is your typical romance that involves a guy and a girl falling for each other. What I liked about the book, especially, was that it was not an insta love story. The storyline took place over a few months. You are given a chance to explore the romance with them.

Josie’s character has some demons from her past. She knew and understood love when her mom was alive, but when she passed, her dad tossed her aside. She is unsure at times on how to deal with Andrew. She wants this romance but her past leaves her fighting it. I enjoyed her as a character. She is the type that you want as a best friend.

Andrew is a domineering character. He knows what he wants and expects that. When he is with Josie, he tries to push her past her limits. He wants her to experience all that the relationship can bring.

I enjoyed this book. It has the romance factor that you are looking for. Look forward to more books by this author.
