Synopsis
Suzy’s a control freak and has her life mapped out - work hard, find a man with a stable job, and live happily ever after. She’s content with the status quo, but her plan comes to a screeching halt when he enters her life and turns it upside down.
City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship.

Throttle Me revolves around the main characters of Suzy and City aka Joey. They are total opposites. He is a tattooed up, motorcycle riding bad boy and she is the good girl school teacher. They meet by chance when he helps her because she is stranded. Chemistry is instant but Suzy doubts it will work because he doesn't fit her list. She is a control freak. City shows her that opposites can work and to throw the list out the window.
I LOVED this book. The scenes with City and Suzy are H-O-T. They leave you wanting more.
The author brings in characters from her other books, Sophia and Kayden. It is discussed, a little, about what happened in the previous books. Even though the author incorporates the characters, it doesn't leave you lost if you never read the other series.
This is a fast paced book, one you won't put down once you start. I can not wait until the other books. A definite recommend for ages 18 and up. :-)

Synopsis

Ms. Bliss takes the reader on an entertaining adventure with Michael and Mia. You fall in love with the characters and at the same time laugh at their antics. Michael is one of the hottest characters because not only is he sexy as hell but has a heart of gold. Especially when it comes to Mia.
The two best characters, other than Michael, would have to be Mrs. Gallo and Tammy. Mrs. Gallo because of her straight forward way of talking to her children. Plus she has grandbabies on the brain all the time. Tammy, well you would expect to hate her because she is the supposed "villain". But Tammy is coo coo crazy in a funny way and you end up laughing at most of the things she does.
My overall thoughts of this book are that it lives up to it's predecessor. The Men of Inked is an awesome series and I look forward to reading more books. I highly recommend this one but only to readers that are 18+ due to HOT and STEAMY scenes. ;)

Holy Toledo Batman! City is one hot Alpha male in this book. I thought that he was hot in Throttle Me but he gets better. Actually all the Gallo men are hot. If they exist in real life, please point me in their direction. ;)

That comes from City's uber alphaness (it's a word right?) and jealousy. A little bit of loving fixes it all. Who could stay made at Joseph 'City' Gallo for long?
This novella sets you up for Izzy's book, Resist Me. You meet the new additions in this book. How they relate to the characters, I can not say. You'll have to read it to find out. =)
My all time favorite character from the series is Mrs. G. I love listening to her commentary with her kids. She is hilarious. Anthony is great too. His banter with his siblings is pretty funny.
Chelle Bliss' writing captivates you from the beginning. She uses STEAMY love scenes and humor to entertain the reader. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors.
My overall thoughts of this book are that I LOVED IT. If you have not read the Men of Inked Series yet, well why haven't you? Pick up Throttle Me first before you read this one, though. Chelle Bliss' books are a must read. Recommend for readers 18+.

Chelle Bliss' books always are entertaining and a joy to read. She takes you into the world of the Gallo family and the dynamics behind them. I love reading about all the Gallo men and their Alpha, domineering selves.
In Resist Me, we get to see the only female Gallo, other than Mama Gallo, find romance. Izzy is a tough as nails kind of woman. She takes no crap and can pack a punch, especially with words. When she meets James, she has met her match. James is like the Gallo men but to the extreme. I love me some James. He is dominating, sexy and can work a pair of hand cuffs.
I have to admit that Izzy's character annoyed me a bit. She is so brash and off putting at times. I know that she is that away because of who she grew up with. As the only female child, she has a lot to live up to. Plus she is scared of ending up with a man like her brothers. She feels being in a relationship like that, she will loose herself.
I was disappointed that Izzy never really talked to James about his life. His family life is mentioned earlier in the book, but is seems more like an afterthought.
My least favorite character would be Flash. He is exactly how Izzy puts it, a p***y.
As with all of Ms. Bliss' books, she opens the door for the next one. We know that Tommy's will be next and I can't wait. The whole Gallo clan make appearances in this book. So fans of Michael and City will not be disappointed.
My overall thoughts on the book is, I liked it very much but it wasn't my favorite of the series. Unfortunately Izzy's character can not stand on her own as a arrogant female. The additions of her brothers help to carry the book along with James. I do recommend this book because you learn a lot for Tommy's book. I hope that as the series progresses, Izzy tames just a bit. Due to sexy and STEAMY scenes, this book is recommended for readers 18+.
