Salvation is an emotional ride. The life that Ember lead before coming to Nashville is heartbreaking. Sanders does a fantastic job at telling her story. She doesn’t down play the events that Ember went through. She shows that Ember is a strong woman who overcame a horrific event.  

Ember is Shy and timid. Her self-esteem took a huge hit. She is shocked when ex-marine Robbie shows an interest in her. Robbie is broken also. He watched his teammates die in combat. He struggles with his own understanding of the events. These two are perfect for one another. Robbie has a need to protect everyone he cares for. Ember needs to know that she has someone in her corner. I loved reading this book and watching their love blossom with each page. It is a beautiful love story that shows you can overcome a tragic past. Sanders did a fantastic job with this book. I highly recommend that you add it to your TBR list.
