~*~ New Release plus Review ~*~ Saved By The SEAL by Diana Gardin

SAVED BY THE SEAL
A Battle Scars Novel
Diana Gardin
Releasing March 8th, 2016
Forever Romance

He saved her life. She showed him how to live it . . .

When he sees a woman drowning, Grisham Abbot immediately leaps into action. The Navy SEAL forgets his training, his past, and the explosion that forever scarred his body and his mind. He can only remember what he was born to do. But saving Greta Owen is a complication Grisham is definitely not ready for. Shes stunning and gorgeouslike sunlight after months of darkness. Yep, Grisham is so, so screwed.

Greta knows that the smart thing to do would be to run from Grisham. Hes a wounded warrior, and his head is a big-time mess. The problem is that Greta wants to make him her mess. One kiss and shes completely in over her head. And if this SEAL risked himself to save her, then she must find a way to bring him back to life . .
.

Saved by the SEAL is the story of Grisham and Greta. They are two characters introduced in the previous book. I personally didn't read the previous book, so I wasn't familiar with their stories. I felt that even though I didn't read that book, it didn't hinder me in any way when reading this story.

They have a chance "meeting" when Grisham saves her one night. From that night, they develop a bond that grows throughout the story. Like any couple, they have their ups and downs but in the end they work it out. Even though the characters knew each other, the author still took the time for their romance to build. Grisham feels that he is a damaged man. Having been injured in War, he lost his foot and doesn't really see himself as relationship material. Greta has been crushing on Grisham for two years. She knew him before and after his injury. She feels that he is still the same man he was before. Like she says, “You’re still you, Grisham. You’re still the same guy I met and crushed on two years ago. You just have a bit more of a story to tell. That’s all.”

The book isn't just romance, there is some suspense too. Greta has a stalker and you don't find out who until close to the end.

Overall I liked the book. It took me a little bit at the beginning to really get into it but it was worth the read. I recommend it to anyone looking for an alpha male SEAL book.
My Rating:
4 out of 5 Stars
